Creator Checkup

Income streams

Relying on ad revenue alone is risky when policies keep changing. Diversify.

1. Ads (AdSense and YPP)

You need to meet the YPP requirements and link an AdSense account. Earnings depend on niche, audience country, and season, so we don't quote numbers: they vary too much.

2. Affiliates

Recommend tools you actually use, with a link in the description, and disclose that it's an affiliate link. Examples: ElevenLabs (affiliate link), Runway, Kling.

3. Sponsorships

Put together a media kit with average views, audience profile, and rates. Check YouTube's "paid promotion" box on sponsored videos.

4. Your own products

Prompt packs, templates, courses, or ebooks. They fit naturally with an audience that also creates with AI.

5. Fan funding

Memberships, Super Chat, and Super Thanks unlock at the entry tier (500 subscribers plus 3 public uploads in 90 days and 3,000 watch hours or 3M Shorts views), where the expanded YPP is available.
